How to Host a Festival in your Garden!

Hiya!

You may have heard of the biggest music festival in the UK: Glastonbury. My dad has been almost every year for the past 20 years but this year he couldn't get tickets. So we decided if he couldn't go to Glastonbury, we would bring Glastonbury to him!

Here are my top tips for hosting your own festival in your garden!

1) Invite people!

You can't have a festival on your own! The more people there are, the more it feels like a festival.

2) Decorate!

The decorations made it feel so fun and special although make sure you have an emergency plan in case it rains!

Decorations you might like:

- Bunting

- Fairy lights

- Balloons

- Picnic Rugs

- Deck chairs

To make it feel even more like a festival:

- Sign posts

- Watch it live on the TV

- A tent

- Wellies

3) Food

We got out our barbecue and used it for the first time this year and cooked burgers and hot dogs which is a quick, easy meal that everyone will enjoy and we served it with salad. Me and my friends completely stuffed ourselves on the pringles and muffins though haha!

We also set up a table with food, here are some ideas of things to serve:

- Pringles / crisps

- Lemonade or Ribena

- Muffins

- Biscuits

- Fruit

- Hot dogs / burgers

- Salad

- Ice cream

Probably not as good as the real Glastonbury but it was great fun anyway!

I really hope you have enjoyed this post. If you take inspiration and create your own festival at home, please let me know, that would be lovely.

See you soon,

Isabelle xx
